Come, see this deck with unsettling clarity. They call this a feminist deck, but some say when you shuffle the Barbara Walker Tarot, it shows not what we wish for women, but the truth of how they are treated now.
I shuffle these in my long fingers, throw some across the table, Judgement tugs at my core, a dark desperation and I wonder if Dante came to paint the angel’s wings as these leathered and featherless bat-like spans? Atargatis confronts us, suspended between scarlet theatre curtains as the Princess of Wands. Skuld rides to battle, the Princess of Swords, the background startling red, to choose who will live or die.
This vintage boxed edition retains its original packaging and booklet.
